  26. There may be a few problems which can cause these symptoms. Most obvious is
  27. hard drive space. Check that you have enough left.
  28.  
  29. Second, are you using MuFS? This can cause havoc to saving updates if you're
  30. not logged in as the owner of the file because it won't let you
  31. update/overwrite your documents, and Pagestream doesn't return any error. It
  32. seems to think the save worked fine and you don't realise there was a
  33. problem until you go to reload the document.

  35. Third, are you getting very low on RAM? I've had this problem before with an
  36. earlier version of Pagestream. It would let me create a document but not
  37. save it completely due to low memory.

  39. My suggestion would be to repeat the exercise, checking the above items, and
  40. when you save it, save another copy under another name. Using the CLI, check
  41. the datestamp and file size before you quit Pagestream to ensure it was
  42. saved.
